Proud to air our first ever film! Behind the scenes with Rick Nunn Charlotte Louisa Moran & Mellisa Clarke

Last week was the first day of summer, the day after we shot all the photography for our Spring/Summer range, surprisingly in glorious sunshine on the roof of the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London’s fashionably grubby Shoreditch.
We enlisted a group of talented folk to help with the shoot. Arguably most important was Rick Nunn our photographer for the day. He’s a talented bloke who, if you’ve been following for a while, you may have read about. He takes bloody good photos, some of which you can see here, has rather a large coffee habit & owns a beard, which is always good in our books. Our other technical expert comes in the form of Tom Eagar. He’s a ruddy nice fellow who I met a few weeks back at the Boat & Ammo Magazine (nothing to do with ships or shooters) live drawing event. Tom is both writes & films for Huck magazine, amongst other things, & we persuaded him to come along & film some behind the scenes footage for us.
On the other end of the camera was two ladies you will (or should) know. The lovely Mellisa Clarke of Front, FHM & world dominating fame! Secondly, the fabulous Charlotte Louisa Moran who has also frequented the the matt silky pages of Front, but she’s best known for eating & breathing fire as part of the Fuel Girls. Something we disappointingly couldn’t replicate within the confines of the Truman Brewery because of those ‘elf & safety nazis! The last of our Team was Jodie Holly Gasson. Who came along to do a professional job on the girls make up, making them look even hotter, a tough job, but she managed it.
The shoot itself went really well & had a nice relaxed pace without any hitches. Despite everyone being near complete strangers we has a great day up on the roof. If you’re looking into locations for photography/filming, the Truman Brewery has loads of very large & varied locations & if your cheeky like us you can beat them right down on the price. The roof is undoubtedly the best of their locations as it has lots of interior options, including a warehouse & a building containing lots of other rooms & a large outside area which has tons of different views over London Town, which if the weather is nice, you can enjoy whilst sitting in the company of beautiful models sharing a bag of chips. I doesn’t much get better than that!
